The Future of North Atlantic Cooperation: A Slovakian Perspective

We are excited to be hosting a virtual discussion with His Excellency Vít Koziak, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Canada on May 20th at 10 AM ET! Register on Eventbrite today.

The discussion will focus on Canada-Slovak relations, security interests, transatlantic relations and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will also touch upon many other interesting subjects!

His Excellency Vít Koziak was first posted to Canada in 2018 where he assumed the role as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Canada. In addition, Ambassador Koziak serves as the Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the International Civil Aviation Organization based in Montreal.

Since 1999, Ambassador Koziak has enjoyed an extensive career in the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. His portfolio has included Coordinator, Directorate-General for Global Challenges, Human Rights, United Nations and other international organizations, and Director for Foreign Policy at the Office of the President of Slovakia.

His academic background includes the Foreign Service Program at The Queen’s College, Oxford, and the Institute of International Relations at Prague, as well as being a member of the Philosophical Faculty at Comenius University, Bratislava.

We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
